ponytails in the wind ~albuquerque photographer

just a little storyboard i had to share.
love these.

'pictures for natalie' round 3 ~albuquerque photographer

three down, two more to go...and it's been a blast let me tell you.
WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL families have come out in support of natalie's family.
what is another word for grateful that i can use?
indebted, obliged, pleased, thankful, gratified....i am all these things.

and now i introduce to you the next round of beautiful people.

the baca's. they have FOUR BOYS. that's one more boy than me which means oh my heck. but tanya and norman are loving life and are the perfect parents to raise four young men into really cool adults.

i find it very intimidating to photograph other photographers-- and this was my first time doing so. MARIA HAYS used to have a photography business here in albuquerque, and recently moved to kansas. her work is reeeeeally lovely and i felt the pressure to deliver for her. after just a few minutes hangin with her adorable kiddos, i knew we had gold...

then it was AMY GREBE's turn. amy is also a local photographer (and friend) and i wanted soooo badly to knock her pics out of the ballpark for her. amy's style is a lot like mine. she is one of the BEST at beautiful closeups of children. i need to get my kids to her one day soon. her kids are SUPER GORGEOUS, but for now i am showcasing the electric vibes between she and her hubbs...

the ellini's. WAY SUPER CUTE BOYS who were as sweet as pie and giggly and fun. mom veronica is my next door neighbor's sister. they come from such a great family, laurence and i feel so lucky to know them all.

and lastly, my sweet sweet sweet oh-my-LORD-i-love-these-kids next door neighbors. ben and ari. i love summers especially because we are guaranteed to see their cute lil heads peeking over our back wall to which we can begin conversing with the amazing duo you see below. they are SO KIND and SO LOVING and SO BEAUTIFUL. to know them is
to love them i assure you.

much love,
bri

'pictures for natalie' / round 2 ~albuquerque photographer

round two. sunday evening.
more amazing families.

(before i go on, i have to tell you that after my husband read my last blog entry his 'constructive criticism' was "LAY OFF THE WORD LOVE. come on bri, how can you love everybody?!"
to which i responded, "what else am i supposed to say when i just....LOVE people so much???"

so, that being said, i will do my best not to tell you how much i loved these fams and their kids....

first up, the casillas family. michelle is a cousin of natalie's. she and her hubby and their kiddos are so delightful. you can tell how much they cherish one another's company.
mom, michelle, told me her kids make her cry everyday. i said "why do they make you cry?!"
"because i just love them so much" she said....

the chavez's. mom amy has always been so supportive and encouraging of my work--which i appreciate ever so much.
i was crazy about her boys' enthusiasm for pictures. i couldn't have asked for more from these cute dudes.

tomoko kase came with her family--some of whom were visiting from japan. i was so fond of them all. i never grew up with grandparents and so i find myself captivated and crazy about everyone else's. including tomoko's grandma. her smile was infectious.
so is joe's below (her son:)

there are 3 generations of women here. how cool is that?!

i treasure little girl shoots. the stafford's have 3 girlies. they were so full of giggles and smiles and sweetness. all of them have stunning eyes. check out baby girl with her hands in her pockets...

the moore boys are ridiculously cute. it's just silly how handsome they are.
i was so enamored with their charm. little man was all smiles and joy. big bro tolerated me which i think was worth a root beer float when they got home...

thank you, thank you, thank you all of you.
xoxo

the clark's. oh my heck I LOOOOOVED these lil girls. totally loved them. mom is a friend and let me boss her all over the place. thank you stacey....

smokin susie and family- albuquerque family photographer

this is the second time i've gotten to photograph susie and familia.
i just love them.
