EVER.
maddie told her mom before i got there that she was going to be "shy".

ummm, NOT.

jake and maddie were wild and silly and funny and goofy and i loved every second.
candid to the core.

this first one cracks me up.

it totally encompasses life with a boy.

look how mom and dad look on happily in the first photo and then all of a sudden their faces show "OH NO. this is SO NOT a good idea!"

(that looks passes over our faces at least 8 times a day in my house.....)

at one point in the house i noticed these AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL paintings and

i asked about them.

mom, eva, painted them!

i'm like, "WHAT?! let's get these beauties in our pics!"

we ended up at dairy queen with ice cream cones (which seems to be a theme for me lately) and with the light plus this fam--these next shots are some of my faves....

WHAT A FUN FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i can't stress this enough.
they were up for anything and everything i threw at them.
they laughed and were silly and funny and loving and such a tight knit group.
(i think i scared them the amount of times i looked longingly at them and asked if i could be a sister...:)

four GORGEOUS sisters and the the two lucky hubbies who married into the clan plus
the mom and dad who did a fabulous job raising this crew...

her big blue eyes and blonde curls are so dreamy.

(all of these baby girl shoots lately...I CAN'T TAKE IT!!!)

i've photographed laura and justin and baby addison a couple of times now and i always enjoy how easy going they are and trusting in my vision.

saphire blue eyes and a heart shaped mouth.

cate's mom andrea is the younger sister to my dear friend patty (aka-patsizzle:)
they have very similar mannerisms, which was uncanny.
i told patty, that next time her sis is in town here in albuquerque, we all need to go grab a beer together.

despite the sudden cloud coverage and bitter wind, we pulled it together in the back of their suv.
i just love impromptu.

how lucky am i that i got to photograph THREE babies while i was in denver?!
this is baby number 2--sofia.
i just LOVE her strawberry blond hair, blond eyelashes and delicate girlie features.
such a sweetie pie this baby.

my other besties in denver.

i forced them both in front of my camera.
brooke seriously falls to pieces in pictures.
she gets so uncomfortable and nervous and fidgety and embarrassed....even though she is just beautiful.
amy was kind enough to let me boss her around and yell things at her so i could get my shots.

fun fun.

here they are so sweetly poised for about a millisecond....
