sister envy - albuquerque high school/ senior photographer

i have it bad.
all of my friends can tell you it's one of those things i always whine about.
I WANT ONE.
this shoot made my sister envy more intense then ever.
look at HOW MUCH FUN these two make sisterhood look!
averie and makenzie--so dang adorable and funny and FUN.
oh, and beautiful.
oh yeah, and talented.
and did i mention they were super sweet?

i just love this family.

mom and dad have raised some pretty amazing women here.

yesterday -albuquerque high school/ senior photographer

i had a four hour photo shoot with these gals.
it was awesome.
we went all over this city and i'm SO excited about our pics.
so many to choose from, i don't even know where to begin.

well, i guess i'll begin here.
we ended our shoot in the mesa--with their cello.

the senior class student body president at cibola high school for the class of 2009, staci.

(she was SUPER modest about that tid bit of info, so i'm sure she's blushing right about now.)

what a little hottie.
and brains to boot.
she's going to college in san diego next year...yippee!
i'm hoping we're in good now and i'll have a place to crash when i go out their to chill:)

i just loved the relationship she and her mom had.

staci is mom's baby.

i can SO RELATE to the lovin of the baby....

staci is an artist (i have a soft spot in my heart for fellow artists...)
she brought her palette and brushes which i LOVED incorporating into our shoot.

it's like realizing you've had a piece of toilet paper stuck to your shoe all day...

uh...i JUST realized that my brianna saban photography stamp from back in the day had a misspelling.
instead of PHOTOGRAPHY--it said PHOTGRAPHY.
yeah, nice.

(so now you're going back in my archives and laughing at me. fine.)
i'm a fast typer and i can assure you it was a complete accident!
there are lots of words i legitimately can't spell, but photography isn't one of them.
please believe me.


to all those who knew it was printed wrong and kept silent anyway: i hope your zipper is down someday soon and you only realize it at the end of a loooong day's work.

everyone needs a

canvas in their life.
seriously, everyone.

i've ordered them for clients before, but never one for us.
well...last night it came.
in all of it's 20x30 glory.
and i LOVE it.

i hung it in the boys bathroom.
it's a picture that represents them to the core.
playing in the bathtub (about a year ago) disintegrated into blows and tears.
why not enlarge it and showcase it for all to see?
so i did.

is on the way for our friends victoria and tracy.

JUST when they decided they were DONE-ZO having kids, and took ALL of their baby things to goodwill......uh-oh, the stick turned pink.

don't you just love when God has bigger and better plans for you?

we're so happy for them.
they are amazing parents with two of the cutest kids in the 505.

(can't wait to meet the darling baby girl due in may...)
