also known as 'fabi' to her friends.

ummm, wowza.
yep- those are her real eyes. (during our shoot some random guy walks up and asks her that. i'd like to call him an idiot, but i used to think they were colored contacts too.)

we took some head shots/modeling shots to see what we could come up with for some kind of portfolio for who knows what in the future.
the movie studios have moved to albuquerque, so you just never know where your opportunity is going to come from.


(p.s. i will never tell you what i said to get her to laugh. never ever ever. but it worked;)

is just DARLING!!! (i feel like a little old lady saying that. like i should be pinching his cheeks or something...)
he was so sweet and polite and fun and up for anything.
(not to mention his mom is cooler than cool. no wonder.)

you just know you're going to hit it off with someone when they watch the same reality junk tv shows that you do.
I LOVE that kevin is as hooked on real housewives of orange county as i am.
"WHOOO-WHOOOO!!" as vicki would say:)

i left our shoot hoping my boys turn out to be this well rounded someday...

and everyone here knows that you have not LIVED until you've had a cinnamon bun from the frontier. end of story.

casting call!

WANTED: 2 senior girls and 1 senior boy who are outgoing, friendly and fabulous for a brianna saban photo shoot.
(by 'senior' i mean teen, not 65 or older. i love those seniors too- don't get me wrong. maybe i'll do the 'seasoned seniors' casting call another time....)

he and his family come and visit us every december--and we love it.

rebecca became obsessed with forcing her dad to kiss her mom.

it was so funny.

and as always, i was mesmerized by the nuevo mexico sky on the drive home.

speaking of guys

so i have to say, the feedback for my website has been really sweet and positive.
especially from our friends.
they love blowing smoke up my bum :)

but you would not believe how many of laurence's friends have given him a hard time because i mention him as "my hot husband" on my 'about me' page.
oh my gosh, they are relentless.

our favorite was a text laurence got from a buddy the other day.
he was complimenting my site to laurence, but then ended with "you might want her to remove the part about you being her hot husband. nobody wants a blind photographer."
we burst out laughing.

why won't guys let another guy have a compliment???

guys

asher calls all of his action figures "guys."
(except batman is called "that man." )
this morning he's been setting them up and making them fight as one says over and over again, "that's a rip off!" (don't ask me where he got that.)
everyday, when he goes to take a nap he cries "give me my guys mommy!"
so i do.
and he passes out with 'guys' all over his pillow.
(what a rip off.)

...i've been counting down the days until i reveal my photography website.
today is the day peeps!

i've worked oh-so-hard on it.
poured my heart into it.
